COMMENTS:
The first 15 chapters tell WHO JESUS IS, chapters 16-28 WHAT HE CAME TO DO. Chapter 1-4 announces the Coming of the King, His birth, genealogy and baptism. Chapters 5-7 The Code of the King or the laws of the coming Kingdom, Chapters 8-9 reveal The Credentials of the King, The Lord Jesus capability to deal with spiritual, physical, intellectual, emotional and problems of nature, in fact any and all problems which confront men. In chapters 10-12 there is the Call to the Kingdom, and its rejection. Chapter 13 explains Christendom, a series of mystery parables about the age in which we now live. Chapters 14-15 are a restatement of Jesus' Command or Authority. Chapters 16-19 the Church is Announced and the 20-23 chapters highlight more Conflicts of the King. Jesus reveals the Course of the Ages in chapters 24-25. In chapters 26-28, Matthew tells of Jesus' Crucifixion followed by His Resurrection. The book is highlighted by Five Discourses marked by the phrase, "When He had finished".
