COMMENTS:
Chapter 1
gives a strong defense of the gospel preached by Paul. In Chapter 2 Paul confronts Peter regarding his actions in view of the doctrine of justification. In Chapter 3 there is a strong contrast drawn between Faith and Works. Chapter 5 contrasts walking in the Spirit and working under the flesh. This book is often referred to as the Magna Carta of the Christian Church.
