Missions Conference - 2008

THEME:
S.H.I.N.E
"Share His Incredible News Everwhere"
Until They Know

(Mat 5:14-16)
"Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

This year's Missions Conference was held at Genesis Bible Fellowship, 6010 Reisterstown Road, hosted by Pastor Wayne Cockrell.

Monday night: Rev. Julian Dobbs, Barnabas Fund and Aid For The Persecuted Church.
In many parts of the world Christians are being martyred this month, this week, today!

Rev. Dobbs share Five Aspects Of Suffering in 1 Peter:
(1 Pet 1:2) Chosen by God (no longer part of the world)
(1 Pet 1:6) Manifold Temptations
(1 Pet 3:14) Terror & Trouble
(1 Pet 4:12) Fiery Trial
(1 Pet 5:8) Devil Like a Roaring Lion
Wherever Christians are - when they suffer we suffer.

Tuesday night: Rev. Curtis - Friends Of Africa
(Mat 28:19-20) Do we really believe it?
God's heart beats for the souls of men.
(Isa 6) Isaiah talks of how God prepares men
To whom much is given, much is required.
The work of the church is to be a witness for the Lord.
(Ezek 33) We are to be watchmen.
